Advocate Tony Dooley
Attorney Tony Dooley is a graduate of McDonald 35’s class of 1989. After finishing high school, Attorney Dooley joined the United States Army, where he became a veteran of Operation Desert Storm and served from June 1990 until June 1996.
While serving in the U.S. Army, Attorney Dooley earned his Bachelor of Business Management from the University of New Orleans in December 1995. He continued his educational endeavors at Southern University of New Orleans, where he received his Master of Social Work in June 1998. He had been working as a social worker for two years and decided to return to further his academic career. He then attended The Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in May 2003. He passed the Louisiana bar exam on the first attempt and was admitted to the bar in October 2003. He immediately became an assistant district attorney at the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office for two years, after which he decided to leave and pursue his private practice career. He has been a private practicing attorney since 2006, as senior manager of The Dooley Law Office.
The Dooley Law Office’s focus areas are personal injury, including wrongful deaths, automobile and 18-wheeler accidents, slip and falls, and medical malpractice. They also address estate issues, including wills and successions, and trusts. They address minor criminal issues and various other civil issues.
